Spectacular and important commentary on so many issues of relevance, in Kathryn's clear, singular voice. Sharing.

Wow thank you for those kind words

Keep doing what you're doing, Kathryn. I am a longtime C-level exec (executive suite at both PE-owned and public companies),. I have been at the table when we decide to enact mass layoffs, to reduce employee benefits, to withold bonuses, to skirt around regulations, to reduce value for the customer, and yes, to pay ourselves big bonuses for doing so. I tell everybody who worships at the altar of corporate America that you are a must-follow.

I really appreciate that.

Your work is so helpful to better understand the economy in human and every day scenarios (as someone who chose not to take a single Econ class in college).

Also shout out to your Marketplace interview segment this week! I got excited hearing you on air and that they circulate your work internally.

I was so flattered to hear that as well! Thanks for reading.

I thoroughly enjoyed this article. Most nostalgically I embraced the HPW chart which exactly aligned to my twenty seven year full time career. Living through brought back vivid memories only awakened by your words. Thanks.

My undergraduate degree is in economics. I have never thought about Econ 101 as being meant to lay the linguistic foundation of the discipline; but then again, I thought Macro was cool and Micro was pointless, so maybe I wasn't the student I thought I was. Thank you for the incredible insight, provided with a healthy dash of edginess.
